When you consign an item with Foryu Furnishings, we display it in our showroom in an appealing 'at-home' manner so customers can imagine how it will look in their own home.
We only accept quality consignments so your item will be surrounded by nice, upscale furniture, art and accessories, not thriftstore merchandise.
We post our more expensive inventory on our Web Catalog so that our customers can shop (and purchase) from home or review an item of interest with a significant other.
At times our website attracts buyers from out of state as well. The current record is held by the gentleman in Texas who purchased a Bellissimo bedroom set from Foryu Furnishings from our web catalog and had it shipped from Bellevue to Houston.

Process
If you have something you would like to consign, you can fill out our online consignment form or bring your item to us for evaluation and consideration. No appointment is needed, but please call ahead to let us know when to expect your arrival. If you cannot bring the item in, and you live within the Greater Eastside area, simply bring in a clear photograph (or your digital camera) and possibly a portable piece of the item (drawer, cushion, side chair, etc.) for evaluation.
If the photo shows us something that we can help you market and sell, we may schedule a visit to your home in order to further evaluate your pieces.
After previewing the items, we can schedule an independent mover to pick up your furniture. They will deliver it to our showroom for display. See our page on Policies for terms and conditions of the consignment agreement.
Foryu Furnishings is in a very nice location and receives a great deal of foot traffic. Because our location is ideal, our rent is high. When it comes to selling home furnishings, a quality reputation and good customer service are key. After that, it is all about location, location, location.
